Cue the Confetti, Ladies!

March is International Women’s Month, so I thought that the best way to celebrate was to highlight all of the incredible girl bosses that are close to me and to the people that I love.

These women have taken a passion project and transformed their creative vision into a reality by forming new brands, businesses, side hustles, creative outlets, & more.

Ranging all over the grid from designers, bloggers, photographers, event planners, artists, & interior decorators, I’m so excited to feature these inspirational women & their epic accomplishments.

Creative genius, owner, & designer behind A La Mere, Meredith Owens, is just as vibrant & beautiful as her illustrations. Being a Wilmington local, Meredith gets her design inspo from the coastal charm & flare of her colorful beach town in North Carolina. A La Mere provides a full spread of custom illustrations & surface designs for stationery, paper goods, textiles, wallpaper, & beyond. When a fun side-gig turns into a full-blown career, you know that there is a powerful woman behind it all.

SHACK & GEORGIA

📸: @annah.riedel.photography

Ashley Clarke started Shack & Georgia after falling in love with watercolors while painting with her mom & grandma. She would spend hours in her grandma’s craft room making beautiful things, so it was only fitting that her custom shop is named after Georgia, or as Ashley refers to her, “GG”. Painting has become therapeutic for Ashley & she finds joy in the little artistic details that make gift giving that much more special. Follow Shack & Georgia on Instagram below & DM her for pricing on her creations!
