It’s the Thrill of the Hunt for Me!

One of my favorite Saturday activities is to go antiquing. Here are places all over North Carolina that I frequent for a vintage fix, whenever I am nearby :)

Raleigh, NC

Antiques at Gresham Lake

*By far my MOST favorite antique shop in Raleigh, antique/vintage mall full of classic vendor booths, great deals & treasures, I always come home with something.

Pro Tip: There aren’t any shopping carts, but there is shelf at the register for any items that you want to put on hold while you are shopping. Also, if you see a piece of furniture that doesn’t have a NFS or a price tag, ask the front desk if the vendor would be willing to sell. They will call the vendor to check for you - you don’t know until you ask! ($$)

Cheshire Cat Antique Gallery

*Antique gallery, library of vintage books & records, mid-century modern furniture

Pro Tip: They have expanded to a space upstairs! In addition to more vendor booths, there is also a year-round Christmas room across the hall. If you’re heading downstairs to Cheshire’s original location, you will most likely lose phone service downstairs, so embrace it! Plan for at least an hour to explore all of the vendor booths. Also, the store is pet friendly! ($$$)

Vintage Vogue

*Just as fabulous as the name, fine antiques, vintage clothing & accessories
